ZOK Street Bollard, 2002

ZOK: Zylinder, Oktogon, Kubus – cylinder, octagon, cube – these are the 3 geometric bodies that characterize the street bollard ZOK. Bollards are not particularly popular street furniture but for various functional reasons are hard to do without. They are usually somewhat decorated slim steles on the roadside that do not make the impression that they will actually tolerate a serious impact.

ZOK is a new concept: a powerful, urban typology that fulfills its aesthetic and functional role in large and small cities.
